To effectively use Content Swarm, ensure you have a valid LinkedIn URL from a public profile with a public post.
The following outlines common errors, their causes, and solutions:
Error: "Not a valid LinkedIn post URL!"
Occurs when the system cannot retrieve valid LinkedIn post information from the provided URL.
Example: https://www.linkedin.com/xxxxxx
Error: "LinkedIn post is not public!"
Occurs when the URL is from a valid post but requires authentication, meaning it is a private post.
Solution: Convert the private post to a public post and copy the new link to share in the application.
Error: "You are not the author of this LinkedIn post!"
Occurs when the post owner is not the user.
Solution: Reshare the post on your personal page, then copy and use that link in the application.
Example: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6736577407018405888/
Note on posting frequency:
Posting too often can cause LinkedIn's algorithm not to activate for your posts, resulting in "no interactions" displayed in Content Swarm. Our app works in tandem with LinkedIn's algorithm; if LinkedIn does not register your post, neither will Content Swarm.
