What type of posts can you post in Content Swarm?

As a user of the Content Swarm app, you can add any public LinkedIn post to your swarm with ease. However, it is important to note that the visibility of your post on LinkedIn is determined by the "Who can see your post?" setting within LinkedIn itself, and not by the Content Swarm app.

To ensure that your post is added successfully, please create your post on LinkedIn and make sure that the "Who can see your post?" setting is set to "Anyone on or off LinkedIn". This will ensure that your post is visible to everyone and can be added to your swarm.

In case you want to add a post that doesn't belong to you, it is important to verify its visibility first. You can do this by opening the link in "Incognito mode" to check if it is visible without authentication. Only public posts should be added to your swarm.

If you need more information on the visibility of shared posts on LinkedIn, you can refer to the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a523141/visibility-of-shared-posts.

Background:

As a user of the Content Swarm app, it is important to note that LinkedIn does not allow for automated posting or engagements. Content Swarm also adheres to this policy and does not allow for such activities.

If you wish to engage with someone through the app, you will need to establish a trust relationship with them. This trust relationship is a proxy that enables the app to know that you are comfortable with the person's posts. The app allows for all individuals who trust each other to engage with each other as they please. Alternatively, a company can designate one person as the admin and only engage with their trusted posts.

Users typically make decisions about whom to trust on a case-by-case basis. By establishing trust with someone, you are granting permission for the app to engage with that person's posts. It is important to note that only the person you trust and their posts will be engaged with.

Content Swarm app operates within the guidelines and limitations set by LinkedIn to ensure that all users engage in a safe and ethical manner.
